I took this photo at 5:40 a.m. from a parking garage, of all places, on the morning of a job interview I was terrified of. The sky looked like it was being set on fire in the gentlest way, and I just stood there breathing until my hands stopped shaking. The interview went fine. But it is the sunrise I kept. Every time the day feels heavier than I am, I look at this picture and remember: the sky resets every single morning, and so can I.
