I started riding my bike because my car was in the shop, which is the least inspiring origin story in fitness history. But three miles in, I noticed my shoulders had dropped and my jaw had unclenched for the first time in weeks. The ride became my moving meditation, twenty miles of sorting out whatever the day had loaded onto me. My bloodwork improved and my pants got looser, but honestly that is a side effect. I ride for my head. The body just comes along, complaining slightly, and benefits anyway. If sitting still for meditation makes you crazy, try moving meditation. It counts.
